Mazarine Energy appoints Paul Korthals as Chief Financial Officer

The Hague, 2 June 2014

Mazarine Energy B.V. today announced that Paul Korthals has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the oil and gas exploration and production company. Paul brings 30 years of experience in finance and accounting in the oil and gas industry. His appointment is effective today.

Before joining Mazarine Energy, Paul served as Manager Financial Accounting and Control at GasTerra BV in Groningen for four years. Prior to his work at GasTerra, Paul assumed a series of financial and planning leadership roles at Shell Exploration and Production in The Hague. Paul began his Shell career in 1985 as an accountant, ultimately serving as Finance and Planning Manager for Shell Offshore UK and NL at Shell E&P Europe.
