Ghrib Concession

Central Tunisia

The Ghrib concession is shared between ETAP (50%), Mazarine Tunisia (45%) and Bizerte (5%) with a 30-year validity until Q3 2046.

The Ghrib concession development campaign was started in Q2 2016 with the objective to fast-track First Oil/Gas. Engineering & Contracts were put in place and pipeline installation was initiated in Q1 2017.

On the 24th of October 2017, production was started from the first well, whereas the second well came on stream on 12 November, at a combined rate of over 2000 bopd.
Oil production is limited by constraints on gas evacuation capacity, which is expected to increase over time.
